About me

I am currently an Assistant Professor (Maître de Conférences) with CentraleSupélec, Rennes Campus, and a member of the IETR–UMR CNRS 6164, Cesson-Sévigné, France, where I have been with the Digital Systems Department since December 2025. I received the B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey, in 2017, 2020 and 2023, respectively. I continued my postdoctoral research at Bilkent University until 2025.

My research interests include wireless communications, information theory, and distributed learning, with an emphasis on federated learning, distributed computing and inference, DNA storage systems, and semantic communications.
